The reel seat is a down locking screw lock of nickel silver with a pocket cap
The blank is a unique clay color with deep rust colored wraps and gold spiraled tipping accents
The original owner's name is written along with the rod info
Stamped in cartouche on the locking seat "F
A nice HL Leonard "Standard" 51-7 fly rod
so it's possible that one may have been replaced at one point
For sale here is a Perrine #95 fly box with many fine vintage salmon flies
and all-brass tube
These reels were made from 1985-1988 and are super hard to find in great condition like this one
