The back stamps on the base include the Diamond the year cypher for 1993 which shows this as the actual year the pen tray was made. The Finches design on a blue ground was introduced in 1988. Sally Tuffin was already a recognised designer when she joined Moorcroft in 1986 and took over the full responsibility for design
