SOLD…….A birch bark snuff box. Scandinavian 19thcAn oblong snuff box with rounded corners and hinged lid made from the stripped bark of birch trees. The lid has been pressed with a wavy pattern. Northern Hemisphere possibly Swedish. Mid 19th century In excellent condition. 9 x 4 x 2. 75 cm 3. 5 x 1. 75 x 1 inch Stock no. KL06

They are in very good condition with no losses but with small areas of rust

A 19th century pressed metal cachou or breath freshener container stamped with Prince Albert's profile and the words-

In excellent condition - no damage but the smallest drawer is reluctant to collapse back but will with a bit of effort

which may be old Wedgwood

The front and inner sleeve are fine

It dates to circa 1830-1840 and resembles true filigree wire work but in this case the effect is embossed

They are sitting on a small pedestal of filigree and have six applied 6-petalled flowers on the side of the bowls

It is in good condition -I can't imagine it was ever used although I did have its pair once but must have sold that separately as I can't find it
