The stem will grow up from ten to 100 centimetres in diameter and reach a height of 25 centimetres

The stem can grow to 150 centimetres in diameter

The caudex will get 20 cm in diameter

but ensure they never dry out completely

It is a very particular caudex

Growing in a well drained soil with little  water and lots of sun

Usually encountered as a small tree (often multistemmed) less than 30 cm dbh but recorded to 40 cm dbh

and can be reproduced both by cutting and seeds

It grow in sandy soils and do fine in any well drained mix
