Thomas and Thomas Bamboo Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #4A nice Thomas and Thomas fly rod, 7', 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #2061. Impregnated cane. Some slight hand soiling to the grip but this rod appears to have been unfished and lawncast only. Tom Maxwell's handwritten lettering has the weight at 2 1 2 oz but my scale has it slightly lighter at 2. 4oz. Medium semi parabolic action. This is a late Maryland or early Fisk Ave Greenfield period rod. Browntone flamed cane in 3 up node pattern.
