boysenberry and blackberry confiture flavors layered nicely with violet

There is enough reduction present to flatten the fruit though the floral notes are discernible

Once again there is enough reduction and oak toast to push the underlying fruit to the background

This is clearly built-to-age and will need time to further flesh out as there is little of the easy-going succulence of the Referts

This bottle was stunning

That has been the biggest challenge over the last few years

tobacco and earthy aromatics is not enough to take away the rustic tannins that mar this medium bodied wine in the finish
