BHG Quiet Sunrise

BHG Quiet SunriseOne of our new 5 Sun Series dahlias. BHG Quiet Sunrise has beautiful soft pink tones on 4 5" formal decorative bloom. The gentle colouring of this dahlia goes well with other pastel varieties. This variety was bred from very floriferous plants with long strong stems and has inherited those same traits. Good producer of cut flowers. This variety has been registered with the American dahlia association as it scored well in the dahlia trial gardens.

Quite a unique and enchanting 3-4" bloom

becoming more peach vs soft yellow at times

but a bit smaller and has an elegant stripe on the upright standards

The hair tips are lighter and deeper lavender in throat

I love how the flower will hint at rings of colour varying from peach

Its deep sultry colouring and elegant waterlily form draws the observer in

The creamy ivory standards have a hint of lavender at their bases

I have not encountered them often

Its multiple colours make it hard to decide if this is an orange

Quiet Splendor truly does exhibit a quiet beauty in the garden

I have found that the spiky petals shimmer in the light and have a silver dust like effect on them adding to the unique nature of this bloom
