Rare Georgian Memento Mori pendant, Skull and Jesus, 18th centuryA very rare antique, Georgian, 18th century bone skull and jesus pendant. This is a very scarce piece the two sided pendant depicting a skull on one side and a depiction of jesus on the other. Almost certainly a Memento Mori piece the subject is open to interpretation though it is likely to have some relation to life and death, the two passages of human life, good and evil and balance. The depiction of Jesus may also mean this pendant is likely to
