Shortly after I had started this piece, a beloved family member ended up deathly sick in the hospital, the medical staff had virtually no positive expectations of what the outcome would be. It was a really hard time for my family not knowing what was going to happen. I remember so many times as I sat to paint this piece, saying so many prayers and talking to my Savior about it all.
