Maw Sit Sit PendantOriginally thought to be jade, Maw Sit Sit turned out to be a high chromium jadeite and albite, and has since passed into legend. Mined only in northern Burma in SE Asia, it is one of the most expensive and desired minerals in the jewelry markets. This material was purchase by my parents when they went on holiday to Burma. This is one of our "micro" pendants!

Aptly named because of the amazing look of melted crayons

also known as Wave Dolomite or Desert Storm Dolomite has the most beautiful wave banding with clear directionality in tans

almost magical presence

this material is instantly recognizable and collectible since collecting has stopped for the last 30 years

Rhyolite is felsic igneous extrusive rock and it is a fine-grained and dominated by quartz and alkali feldspar

The old paint buildup that once accumulated in factories has largely been cleaned away

discontinued operations in 1908
