Cassiterite with Quartz

Cassiterite with QuartzA very attractive display specimen from this classic locality. Huanuni is actually the RICHEST Cassiterite deposit in the world, and although its best known for its phosphate species, occasionally some fine quality Cassiterite specimens are found. Several fine, sharp, lustrous, beautiful, well formed cyclic twinned crystals are associated with sharp, prismatic, white colorless Quartz crystals aesthetically flaring out of the sides. soft metallic grey colored tabular blades of Bournonite are intergrown to create this eye-catching display specimen

but to find non-pseudomorphic native Copper is rather rare
