The Stills-Young Band - LONG MAY YOU RUNOnly collaboration just between Stephen Stills and Neil Young but kind of recreating their Buffalo Springfield days together. Originally this was intended as the new CSNY album but yet another fallout between this bunch of 'adolescents' meant Stils and Young removing all contributions from Crosby and Nash on the master tapes; really pity as this would thhen have been the brilliant album it was meant to be. It is, however, still really good. This is

This is the original UK release of the first album with gatefold sleeve

not so sure myself but it does have 'Hoedown'

don't know why as I do have it with all the rest of EJ's output on CD

While they did have a lot of success I think they should have been much bigger but the tag 'poor man's Moody Blues' seemed to have stuck - very very unfair

'Giant Step' is an 'electric' album with Mahal supported by a 3 man backing band while the second album is a solo acoustic recording

much in the same vein as A Song For Me

She was also called the English Joan Baez and became a good intrepreter of Cohen's and other's songs and a fine folk singer-songwriter in her own right

Whille assembling this latest upload I played this allbum for the first time in many years - it's still a superb example of British blues and John Mayall's greatness
