The butterflies might look like they're touching

Rothschild's Birdwing (Ornithoptera rothschildi)

they are probably the largest butterfly on our website

It has an opaque black upper side with a splash of red on the abdomen while the underside has a red "bitemark" pattern on the hindwings

Wingspan: 4 inches

we prefer and recommend the underside (as shown in the pictures) as it has excellent golden yellows
