Lark Classic Cask Double Tawny Single Malt Whisky 500mlLark Head Distiller Chris Thomson has taken our Tawny dominated Classic Cask and finished it in a single Australian Tawny cask, selected from Seppeltsfield Winery in the Barossa Valley. The result is a familiar Tasmanian single malt that quickly develops into a Tawny explosion of raspberry and blackberry, perfectly balanced with creamy caramel and a light dusting of cinnamon.
Its finish is long
you would taste the difference
aged for a minimum of two years in ex-whiskey charred oak barrels
plum and red berries
honey and double cream with a warming woody spice
and finishing with ashy-dry peat
nuances of viscous sweetness and slightly dried pasture remain as lingering finishes
Distilled with the unlikely inclusion of cucumber and rose
all hand-selected by the Highland Park master whisky maker Gordon Motion
