SOLD….. A crochet hook set in a red leather case. c 1850A boxed set of six steel crochet hook which fit into a bone holder. The red leather case has a little decorative tooling where the lid and base join. Inside there is a red velvet block with holes for the six hooks and a small space for the handle. The handle has patent details stamped on it dating it to circa 1847. In excellent condition and all original. The case measures 8. 5 x 3cm 3. 25 x 1. 25 inches) * the bone handle is definitely not ivory the

The cushion is a faded purple velvet and sits in an oval basket with a folding twisted wire handle

In excellent condition especially considering its age

An attractive unmarked silver buckle set with paste 'black spot' stones

It has a stepped and cross hatched silver spring cover

*The photo showing the two small boys in uniform is interesting as the boy on the left is 'General Tom Thumb'

There is no damage but the mosaic is no longer close fitting
