1940s 'Meteorite' Tank RingStriking 1940s 'Tank' ring featuring a stylised meteorite bursting across the black onyx panel. The meteorite (okay, it's probably supposed to be a fan) is studded with rose cut diamonds and features fine millegrain edge adornment. Built in 18 carat gold, these rings were inspired (directly or otherwise) by the new generation of mechanised military hardware that rose to prominence in Europe after the First World War. Era: Mid Century, circa 1940 Head
