Blue-Lined (Fuscus) TriggerfishPseudobalistes fuscus The Blue lined, or Fuscus, trigger, is one of the more attractive triggerfish. Suited for large aggressive tanks only, the fuscus trigger grows large (16") and more aggressive with age. Cannot be kept with small fish or invertibrates.
Use a scoop or specimen container instead of a net since their spines may get stuck in the net
A tank size of at least 300 gallons is recommended for this size fish
It must be fed a variety of foods: vegetable
It is found at depths well below 100 feet
do best in groups of 3 or more
it is important to provide it with plenty of swimming space and a large tank
They require a minimum 70 gallon tank
Due to this symbiosis
they may also eat feather dusters
Colors may vary depending on the fish's mood
They make spectacular additions to your reef tank
although once it has fully adjusted to life in captivity
