The Edge

The EdgeIceland This was the shot going into Iceland. The drone was new and had barely been used, but it found its purpose here, rising above a black sand beach as the waves came in from the North Atlantic. From above, the contrast is almost abstract. Vivid turquoise against absolute black, white foam tracing the line between them. One of those images that the destination was always going to produce, and still managed to exceed every expectation.
