9x12 Vintage Mahal Carpet:: Allover design with cross section palmettes. Sprawling character with delicate intricacies, making this a fascinating carpet to study all nuances. Symmetry within an asymmetric mapping: Very small minor medallion off center in conjunction with the cartoon of the continuing repeat, which would otherwise be cut short in a perfectly landed repeat of a traditional carpet. Center field is rose terracotta with expressive serrated leaves in the teal green
