SOLD……Three pearl handled sewing tools with matching gilded steel scissors. c 1840A set of gilded steel sewing tools a button hook, a stiletto and a crochet hook with gilded steel scissors. The cutlers mark on the scissors is partially obscured by the rivet but ends in 'onus' so possibly a trade name Bonus? Scissors 9. 5cm long The tools 9. 5, 10 and 11 cm In good condition however with some wear and the gilding on the button hook does not extend along its entire length ( see last photo ) Stock no. No makers marks but there is a number 2 cut into the steel near the rivet on each blade

The turned top section is purely decorative

An emery cushion housed in a silver filigree basket dating to the first part of the 19th century- circa 1800

A pretty miniature basket of embossed and pierced silver fitted with an emery cushion

The Tartan Ware is in good condition with just minor surface blemishes and a small loss on the inner edge at the back (see last photo)
