Öffentlichkeit - Monument - TextDer 14. Kongress fr Griechische und Lateinische Epigraphik stellte die Bedeutung der Inschriften fr die ffentliche Kommunikation in den Mittelpunkt der Diskussion. Dabei sollte vor allem danach gefragt werden, wie sich dieser kommunikative Charakter der Inschriften nicht nur durch den Text ausdrcke, vielmehr in den meisten Fllen noch weit mehr durch das Monument, mit dem die Inschrift verbunden ist.
