A ripe and very fresh nose combines notes of various white orchard fruit aromas with those of mineral reduction, sea breeze and quinine. The quite finely detailed flavors possess a lovely sense of tension and minerality though note the same level of complexity as the best in the range. Note that this relatively forward effort should drink well shortly after

This fine effort is sufficiently firm to repay mid- to even longer-term cellaring

The black and red fruits are ripe

There is just enough post-bottling SO2 to interfere slightly with the slightly exotic white orchard fruit aromas that are trimmed in a subtle dollop of wood

A more restrained nose grudgingly reveals its ripe and ultra-spicy aromas of plum and black cherry liqueur
