Antique Victorian Gilt Glass Locket NecklaceAntique Victorian silver gilt glass locket. This pendant is very unusual, glass lockets are not common to find. This piece is made from silver gilt which is the process of gold gilded over a base of silver. The pendant hangs from a new 9ct yellow gold chain. The bale of the locket unscrews, loosening the glass panes allowing you to place a picture, lock of hair or a thin momento would be able to fit into this locket. ERA: Victorian, 1837 1901
