Handwoven Hanji BasketIn ancient times, wasted paper would often be used to make household goods by using the jiseung method a centuries old technique where hand corded strips of paper are tightly woven together to form functional objects. Young Mi Park is one of the few protecting the method, using Korean handmade paper (otherwise known as hanji) to construct heritage filled, hard wearing designs such as this basket. She starts by soaking and drying the paper in the sun,
