Beaucastel, Chateauneuf Du Pape BlancThe 2005 Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape blanc, a blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% white Grenache fermented 80% in tank and 20% in barrel, has exuberant notes of honeysuckle, rose water, and hazelnuts. It is medium to full bodied, rich, and certainly one of the finest of the white Chateauneuf du Papes.

austere and incredibly persistent finish

delicious and very pinot flavors yet the finish is intensely earthy and serious

I imagine it will reward readers lucky enough to own it with several decades of exceptional drinking

when the normal production should have been around 100

Once again there is just enough wood to point out along with hints of menthol

as are yields

This utterly delicious yet serious effort is highly recommended

it is dazzling

Its inky black color is followed by classic notes of smoked meats

The Sandrone family employed 38 people for farming
