SOLD……An engraved mother of pearl needle case in the form of a book. c 1850An engraved mother of pearl needle book. The two covers are decorated in a leaf and star design around the edge. Both sides are identical. c1850 The spine and ties are in slightly yellowing mauve silk. Inside the cloth for the needles is a replacement the original having disintegrated due to moths. 5 x 4cm In excellent condition no damage to the covers and the silks are intact. Stock no. LE40

In excellent condition-no damage and the ribbon winds in and out correctly

The ball is 7cm in diameter and quite substantially made- not flimsy

The thimble is in excellent condition (no needle holes in the top section) and comes in an old leather thimble case
