this was initially badly reduced

Wrapped up with notions of lemon pith and a fine dusty minerality

edged by a graphite note that slowly takes over on the finish

with touches of leather

firmly austere and even more compact finish that delivers very fine length

Interesting

but there's also a Burgundian undercurrent of Morello cherry that comes to the fore

The palate is very well balanced with fine grain tannins

There is even more minerality and precision to the middle weight flavors though the vibrant finale displays enough dryness that I am concerned that it may not dissipate with age

but its benchmark quality is already glaringly apparent

Delicious now and should age a further 10 to 15+ years
