There were no shorts or gas. Tube One measured 42 in its triode section where minimum (65%) is 25 and 100% is 39. Transconductance measured a nicely-balanced 68/72 where minimum (65%) is 56/56 and 100% is 86/86

These four Ken-Rad tubes tested as follows on our Paul Hart-calibrated TV7/U:

I am playing them as I write in my Musical Paradise MP-301 MK3 and they sound excellent

Four are civilian and one is milspec

Transconductance measured 42 and 44 where minimum (65%) is 30 and 100% is 46

Transconductance measured 68/75 for Tube One and 72/68 for Tube Two where minimum (65%) is 56/56 and 100% is 86/86

Their filaments are spirally-wound -- hence the "S" in "ECC83S" -- for low noise operation

There were no shorts or gas and it measured as follows:

rectangular mica and smooth rectangular bottom spacers and excellent flashing

This loosely-matched pair of new old stock-TESTING Tung-Sol-MANUFACTURED 6BG6G output tubes was tested on our Maxi-Matcher with 400 volts on the plates and a bias of -48 volts for shorts
