Danburite (GEM crystal)A small discovery in 2007 at Sakangyi produced these unique and superb quality Danburite crystals. They are notably different than most Danburites you'll see from virtually any other world locality. First off, the distinctive golden color is not what one thinks of when it comes to Danburite, as most people probably think about the colorless (or slightly pink) Danburites from Charcas, Mexico. I remember a handful of golden Danburites that came out of

"floater" crystal with gorgeous flowing and stepped surface features on all sides

lustrous black Sphalerite crystals and additional Chalcopyrites which are sprinkled throughout

these are not the finest Pyromorphite specimens

The main crystal is very sharp and lustrous with smooth

and almost all of them are virtually damage free

They are notably different than most Danburites you'll see from virtually any other world locality

but the lower portion of the piece is contacted where it separated from the pocket wall
