Bodega Mustiguillo, Terrerazo Quincha Corral Vino PagoThe top of the range and scarce 2019 Quincha Corral is a wine that is only produced in special vintages from vines planted in 1945 in their El Terrerazo estate at 800 meters in altitude. It fermented in 3,500 liter oak vats with indigenous yeasts for 10 to 12 days with soft pigage and a further two weeks of maceration. The wine underwent malolactic and 20 months of levage in those same vats. It has 14. 5% alcohol and very good freshness (pH 3. 46) and

This is really quite fine and should age accordingly

This opulent and mouth coating effort is certainly finer than its villages sibling but not necessarily any longer or more complex and I prefer the more overt minerality present in the villages as well
