Very Large Yukon Aventurine Stone SphereThis is a stone sphere made in Oregon from material found in Alaska named by the claim owner, Yukon Aventurine. It has the characteristic green with dark tan swirls giving it a great look that is eye catching and a dark spear like band running opposite to the swirls top to bottom. This comes in several colors with this piece being primarily yellow and dark blue

The claim owner named this material Insane Jasper and his claim has been all mined out but similar looking material may be available from other locations

There is a small area that is only partially mineralized and is softer than the surrounding rock and thus does not polish and is slightly below the surface due to its being softer and that gives this a unique appearance

This half of a Los Choyas solid geode from the Chihuahuan Desert area of Mexico

It is approximately 16 oz and 3” x 4”

Under long wave UV light it also has some green reactivity showing trace amounts of uranium from when it was formed making this one for the UV collection

This is a large Priscacara and and small Diplomystus from the sought after 18” layer of the Green River Formation of Fossil Lake in Wyoming

This beautiful agate is from North Ankara
