it is generally speculated that only approximately 100 watches were made with the Cross of Merit dial and were produced by Omega prototype maker Jean-Pierre Mathey-Claudet who also is known for making the prototypes for the famous 30mm caliber movement

case and Roman numeral white dial give it a look that is distinctly "Cartier"

in between the size of the Rolex Date and Datejust - it's also manually wound movement
