Description
For You | Kathy BarrickI've been wanting to do a small sampler with an antique look and finally did it! I originally envisioned this design stitched on a dark brown gray linen, but wanted to give it a bit more life, so used Fiber on a Whim's Sapphire linen instead. It is stitched on 40 Count Sapphire using Needlepoint Silks in: 351, 352, 642, 692, 693, 851, 854, 855, 861, 871, 876, 984, 998. The stitch count is 77 Wide by 63 High.
Top and bottom borders bring in added decoration and color and shapes reminiscent of quilt blocks

Fox and Rabbit's Sandcastle Linen Cross Stitch Fabric provides a lovely natural setting for your stitching
Conversions to DMC are provided
Perforated paper turned out to be the perfect medium to allow them to stand on their own
