Edwardian Bimetal Watch Chain NecklaceCool antique watch chain necklace featuring long bar and rope twist links in alternating 18ct yellow gold and platinum. The length has been increased to a longer matinee length, 21 inches, by the addition of two lengths of rope link chain between the original clasps and the bimetal watch chain (this appears to have been done quite some time ago). The bar links have a square profile and are each stamped with their respective metal: PLATINUM or 18ct.

A jump ring appears to be missing
the scarabs and flowers are suspended from long paperclip links
Some wear to the silver plating at the back around the posts
Light wear to the stone consisted with age
It's also interesting to view the stones from the flat undersides

The diamond is set within a carved star motif
when a four-stone does come along it's actually quite striking
Metal: Base metal / pinchbeck
formed from shimmering iridescent colour change paste - an effect akin to adularescence in labradorite or moonstone
