Brookite (INCREDIBLY rare, faceted stone)This stone, when backlit, shows a rich burnt orange hue with decent clarity. This gem, understandably, has a very shallow and narrow "cushion" cut, but you take what you can get with this material. I've only seen a handful of faceted Brookites over the years, and they were all black opaque, so the fact that this stone has COLOR (when backlit), is significant. the crystals are included with an unknown blackish mineral (probably Jamesonite) to create an eye-catching two-toned effect

and how often do you see an 8+ inch bi-color “floater” crystal like this for such a reasonable price

How often does one see Petalite with this color with any form of crystallization

and very showy as you can see

I held this one back when the find was made
