A pair of elegant Victorian scissors. 19thcA pair of steel scissors with finely made handles and finger rings. The cutler's mark is inside each blade but is a shape rather than a name and is hard to make out. There is a title stamped on the steel which reads 'Elite'. There is a little rust near the rivet on one side but otherwise they are in good condition and do cut. 9. 5 cm long Finger ring span 3cm Stock no. KW33

In excellent condition - no damage to the pearl but there is very minor chipping to the edge of some of the bone reels which can be seen in the photos

A wooden lace bobbin from East Devon- a Honiton stick

No losses but there is some slight movement of the inlay on the lid as can be seen when it is held at an angle

the third very slightly different- see measurements below

In good condition-no damage but with chips on the base made during manufacture where the columns are fixed

One of the two blown glass bottles has an unmarked silver cover

An 18th century shuttle engraved with floral sprays and bordered by a wavy line around a bird's foot pattern

It unscrews to reveal space for a thimble which would also have been wooden

The suspension ring is dragooned as is the frame of the lens and there is a little floral band in the centre of the handle

The handles are variant which may be deliberate so as to easily identify which is which when in a writing box -the tooling is identical
