The piece has a two tone effect as the reverse side of the specimen has a deposition of a brownish clay mineral. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 35 years old

The piece is clearly contacted

you can see what appear to be very thin "string"-like growth lines inside the Halites

The crystals are associated with tan/pink botryoidal Siderite and are sitting on a contrasting gemmy brown scalenohedral Calcite on matrix

and although it’s best known for its phosphate species

but what really sets it apart is that it contains several wispy inclusions with varying orange to pink hues that create eye-catching color combinations when the piece is backlit

and just plain showy
