Here the nose is also quite distinctly earthy with notes of humus, underbrush and forest floor adding breadth to the very fresh dark currant aromas. There is even better density and power to the delineated middle weight flavors that dont possess quite the same degree of minerality but there is just better overall depth and length. This is a first rate Gevrey villages and highly recommended. 90 2020+

As is typically the case this is more deeply pitched with more obviously sauvage inflected aromas of various dark berries

with impressive brightness to the silky

Once again moderate wood is present on the more obviously menthol-infused aromas of red currant

bright aromatics of pomegranate

The fruit for this vintage was picked over eight different parcels

This very serious effort is decidedly old school in style and not surprisingly

and most of the fruit from those vineyards ended up in the blend of this VS

the top notes moving to old library books
