2025 Degraves Road ArintoJoin the Wine Club for 2030% off The Arinto grape variety heralds from Portugal and is one of their most important white grape varieties. It is widely used in their famous Vinho Verde blends but will also make exceptional dry white table wine. The fruit for our 2025 Arinto was sourced from our Degraves Road vineyard at Crowlands. Fruit was hand harvested in March and gently crushed prior to fermentation with wild yeast. No additions of fining agents

It has seductive aromatics of pepper and spice with a medium bodied palate rounded off with a touch of sweet French oak

5% Alc/vol

Finished with 60% new French oak this wine is an outstanding example of single vineyard wines from the Pyrenees

Fruit ripened late April prior to fermentation and basket pressed after 8 days

Please note that shiraz from warmer years may develop a sediment in the bottle called quercitin

The wine has classic shiraz aromatics of pepper and spice with a medium to full bodied palate of dark red fruits

The resulting wine has lifted spice and floral dark fruits

Cellar 8-12 years

The 2023 Dogrock Shiraz was hand-picked late April prior to fermentation and basket pressing

It has spice and cassis aromatics followed by a medium bodied and yet generous finish
