The combination of the gorgeous purple color "Grape Chalcedony Grape Agate" combined with the hundreds of "rice grain" to "sheaf" like shaped crystals of micro white Quartz is very rarely seen in my experience with this material. The micro white Quartz can be seen on both sides of the piece, which look beautiful with a loupe and even better under the microscope. No damage on either side, and

some of the largest overall Vauxite specimens in the world

No damage to the Brookites and it's not very often that one finds such superb eye-catching examples of the species in near full-size cabinet display specimens such as this

The unique form and stacked appearance of the crystals makes for a very eye-catching large thumbnail / small toenail sized piece

the Italian specimens are among the best in the world

It's not just crystallized Copper that makes this area so famous

The reverse side of the specimen shows exceedingly rare

the original hexagonal form of the preexisting Pyromorphite crystals is perfectly preserved by the dark grey colored Galena which is now completely enveloping the surface of each crystal

I've only seen a few other green Halites from this locality

and this is a complete "floater"
