On the lids delightful engraved designs featuring cherubs holding a basket of flowers aloft. The compact is the unique Gwenda shape which resembles a stylized flower. The front is highly ornate with smooth gold tone bands that echo the flower shape. One of these bands is adorned with tiny flowers. The back is a post deco tribute of wavy lines that echo the flower shape & radiate
The mirror bezel & the brass surrounds of the lid & base are gilt
