Markus Molitor, Trarbacher Schlossberg Pinot Noir 3*Wild and untamed as always yet pure, fresh and slatey on the still reductive, just slightly oaky and leathery nose with its tobacco and sweet red fruit and plum skin aromas, the full bodied, tight and concentrated 2016 Pinot Noir Trarbacher Schlossberg *** is juicy, nervy, salty and piquant on the palate, which is also tight and tensioned and with great astringency. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.

Give it 3-4 years of cellaring and enjoy it over the following two decades
