It serves as the mounting plate for the latch assembly within the door jamb. What This Part Does The jamb plate provides the structural mounting point for the latch system. It positions and secures the latch within the door, ensuring proper alignment and consistent operation. Formed Steel Construction
This seal mounts on the body with weatherstrip adhesive glue (not included)
providing secure and consistent door closure while enhancing the overall appearance of the installation
