The message reads: "From AA to CS", and it's accessed by popping open the hinged face. The front of the locket displays a diamond set Forget Me Not flower nestled inside a recess with a granulated gold work border, and the shoulders feature applied ivy leaf decoration. English hallmarks tell us that it was made in 1903, but despite being made 2 years after
