Antique Victorian Horseshoe, horse and horns brooch, Sterling silver and goldA scarce and unusual antique Victorian era brooch. It is modelled as a horseshoe in sterling silver with bi colour, yellow and rose gold foliate overlay around the shoe. The centre has a sterling silver horses head wearing a bridle with Rose gold rein, beneath the horse there is a pair of crossed horns which extend out to the sides. The horse has a hollow cut out eye, it first appears there may have been a stone set in the eye but on closer inspection
