Edwardian Cat's Eye RingElegant antique single stone ring dating from the Edwardian period, circa 1905. The stone is a gorgeous, moody grey cat's eye chrysoberyl with dark grey body colour and a band of shimmering light an optical effect known as chatoyancy blazing down the middle. Tapered, reeded shoulders draw the eye towards the oval cabochon cut stone, and the ring itself is built in 18ct yellow gold. Era: Edwardian, circa 1905 Ring size: P 1 2 or 8 US. Resizable for 35

No fluorescence with the cut and polish both graded excellent

An excellent antique chatelaine complete with three appendages: a triple pencil with three retractable coloured ends

The background is a vivid iridescent blue morpho butterfly wing

The stones alternate blue and white around the central diamond

rest in platinum bezel settings finished in fine millegrain

Note: in this case the red coral is replaced by pink topaz
