Antique Japanese Military Bakelite Helmet Shape Army Sake CupThis is an antique Japanese military sake cup, made in the shape of a helmet with three points so the cup will stand up. The interior of the cup has the words "Victory Helmet" in the center and the four characters around it are, I believe, Buddhist good luck words. The color of the cup is a reddish brown. These were sold as good luck charms that were meant to ward off death. The cup is made of bakelite, an early type of plastic. Condition: Mint Size:

This is an antique Japanese military sake bottle

collar tab with the number "29" and the words "Manchuria Garrison Victorious Return Commemoration"

The words are "Cavalry 20th Regiment" and the soldier's name Oka in the back

The words on the cup are "Infantry 42nd Regiment 9th Company Gymnastics Top Grade Award"

but don't know which ones they already have

and the words "Field Artillery Soldier Commemoration"

The exterior of the cup is in the shape of a helmet with shells as the base and the words "Loyalty" and "Bravery" embossed on it

decorated with a branch of cherry blossoms and a Chinese city gate painted in a sort of watercolor style
