Description
A mother of pearl topped tape measure. c1850A tape measure from a fitted sewing box. It has a pearl top and bone barrel and base. The green ribbon is printed in inches but is a replacement. 2cm high Diameter of top 2. 5cm Base diameter 2cm. In good condition. Stock no. LR46
The silver blade is nicely engraved with fruit and foliage

In excellent condition- good colour and no damage
The cruet has five-ring compartments on a stepped frame with three graduated baluster shaped castors and covers

A good quality Tunbridge ware thimble case in the form of an acorn
In excellent condition with just an impact mark in the centre of the back when folded which was probably caused by the scissor blades inside
The lid unscrews and the pierced section unscrews too
black and yellow tartan design is untitled
The other pair has very small finger rings and would be unusable
A wooden case with a transfer view of the sea and cliffs at Hastings and in particular the 'lover's seat' now lost to the sea
The spine is leather and there's a red and cream cord which closes over the case to keep it shut which would have been slightly elasticated originally
