MAEDEUP; six wingsA candle sconce constructed with cotton rope, viscose casing, and brass. The brass part is made by a metal turning master who worked as a technician for more than 45 years. The rope is developed especially for the piece by WKND Lab. The meaning behind it follows the same as an aubergine knot making method. Traditionally, people associated an aubergine with babies because of the roundness and cuteness of the vegetable, which turned into a meaning of

connecting together to form a complex contortion of shapes

It is made from soft wool sourced from farms that comply with non-mulesing production
