A Neapolitan WomanDrck was a pupil in Leipzig of Schnorr von Carolsfeld and studied at the Munich Academy 1824 9. After a trip to Italy in 1836 7 he settled in Munich, working as a portrait painter. As such, he was called to the courts of Sweden and Austria and later specialised in genre subjects and scenes of children.
